Any suggestions would be appreciated:

My phone was on when it took a spill into a pool. I disassembled it and let it dry out for a few days. When I put it back together and turned it on I would get the Apple logo for a few seconds before it shut down. I installed a new battery and now it will turn on and is 100% functional when plugged into the AC adapter. The batter icon shows that the battery is approx 80% yet it won't work when plugged into my PC or by itself. Ideas?

Thanks!

my advice is you should be more careful. maybe next time get a water proof case. (if they even make those).

I'm hoping for some advice that will help me now, not last week. And yes...they make waterproof cases.
