So maybe you guys can help me narrow this down. I replaced the dock connector piece of the iPhone, the part that includes the dock connector, speaker, mic, home button, etc. because my home button wasnt working and it wouldnt charge. So now just about everything works, except for the microphone. Do you think maybe the part I bought from ebay could have been bad (even though everything else works perfectly) or could I possibly have missed something when replacing it?

Has anyone else here ever actually taken their iPhone apart before?

Correction: If I call someone and blow directly into the mic, they can hear it. Nothing else can be heard.

Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone? It seems as though its picking up sound, its just really low.
