3G S vs. BB Storm speaker?

I was wondering, does anyone know how the 3G S's speaker compare to the Blackberry Storm? If you have used both, which one has the louder speaker? I know that the Storm's speaker is probably the loudest speaker I have ever heard on a phone...actually is louder than my black Macbook, lol.
 
I also have heard that the Storm's speaker is pretty loud, but so is the iPhone's. I haven't used the Storm so I can't compare them. But I have also heard that the Storm's UI is difficult to get used to, so I don't see a reason to even own the Storm

Same here, I was just curious how their speakers compare.
 
Hmm...from what I can remember, the 3GS is about as loud as my Bold was, which in turn was louder than my Curve. Not sure how the iPhone compares to the Storm, though.
 
The speaker on my old Nokia was the loudest ive ever heard. Startles you if it is in the house and your near it. And ive had a BB Pearl before. Wasnt as loud but it was better than my iPhones which sucks.

The BB Storm speaker is extremely distorted when you turn it up loud. It sounds terrible. You end up turning it down just so it sounds clear, which essentially makes it the same loudness as the 3G/3Gs. 3Gs sounds a little clearer, IMO.
 
The Storm is quite loud, but the phone is crap, so that's of no use.

I love Blackberries and all, but the Storm's processor is terrible and it's slow.
 
Really..? Have you heard the speaker phone on the moto q? IMHO the speaker phone on iphone 3gs is pretty lousy... One of the main reasons I have yet to buy one

bb storm is know for being quite loud, this is not really a fair comparison

compared to other smartphones the iPhone 3G and 3GS have average or slightly above average audio.
 
All new BlackBerry devices = Stereo Speakers
All iPhone devices = Mono

Stereo > Mono
or
BlackBerry Speaker > iPhone Speaker
