I bought my 3G last week and for some reason there appears to be an image burn in the upper right corner and lower right corner. These corners are always "brighter" (whiter may be more accurate) than the rest of the screen. The burn in of the upper right corner can faintly display the cell bars and AT&T logo from landscape mode. The burn in of the lower right corner can faintly display the batter meter from landscape mode. I have attached images below.

I thought these types of displays could not burn an image? Was I wrong (sure seems it)?

I have used the 3G quite a bit since I got it, but not that much, and especially not in landscape mode. I read a post elsewhere about this being a temporary type burn with the remedy being to display a white screen for a short period of time. I tried this using one of the flashlight apps, but it didn't make a difference.

So, anyone else have this type of problem? Any home remedies or should I head to the Genuis Bar for an exchange?

Thanks.

Thanks. I made an appointment this morning and went to the Genuis Bar at lunch. In and out very quickly with a new phone. The Genuis had never seen this problem before.
