My phone has been randomly pressing the sleep/wake button by itself. It's done it for a while on different firmware updates. I have an appointment tomorrow at the Apple store to fix the problem... Today the problem got so bad it hung up on my friend 7 times within 10 minutes.

I went to the Apple store today to see if I could get in sooner(maybe someone canceled) and the guy told me no, which is fine. I asked him what he thought they would do to fix the phone and he said they would probably replace it.

I was wondering what phone they would replace it with... Will they give me a new 3G iPhone like I have, a refurb 3G iphone, or a new 3G S?

Aw, I was hoping they didnt have any 3G white models in stock. Will it be a refurb?

And will I get a new warranty?

They will always have replacement 3Gs in stock. Sorry.

Yes, it will be a refurb but that's not necessarily a bad thing. All refurbs I was given were in perfect condition and they've already had any issues fixed... Better than new, IMO.

It's cool. I can handle my my current iPhone model. And as long as the condition is perfect. I've kept very good care of my current phone and it barely has any imperfections on it.

What about the warranty? Will it still be the same warranty or a new one?
