3G Unrestrictor - Battery Life Concerns

I was wondering if I Jail Broke for this one App if it would affect the battery life. I have read that Backgrounder, sbsettings and a few others are culprits in the battery draining department.

Any input would be appreciated.

sling, youtube, logmein.

I was under the impression that apps are capped. I know that it will still be 3g speeds and not going to turn it into wifi, but also being able to download any app from the store without the 20mb cap is nice.
