Well I was thinking. I have the newboot rom iPhone 3gs and was thinking if there's a way I can get 4.0 beta and jailbreak it?

Unless you are a developer, the only way I know to get the 4.0 beta would be by pirating, which isn't allowed in these forums. Just jb 3.1.3.

Are you posters reading the same question I am ?

Isn't the OP asking about jailbreaking 4.0 beta firmware on a 3GS ?

If so, most of the replies are dead wrong

OP wants to jb 4.0 because they assumed 3.1.3 on a 3GS couldn't be jailbroken.

After reading it all again, I believe you have it exactly right. :)

Yes.. I agree with you... OP was asking about jailbreak tools for OS 4.0 Beta version...

That's how the thread started, but it did take a turn:
It's impossible for me to jailbreak. I got my iPhone with 3.1.3

I read that as the OP only wanted to jb 4.0 because he/she thought they couldn't jb 3.1.3 with the new bootrom, which is an incorrect assumption.
