3GS - Drop Calls and random "Cannot connect to cellular data service"

Hello there. Anyone else have the issues of calls dropping as they are placed and/or "Cannot Connect to the Cellular Data service" when you try open email or Safari? Any ideas?

Jailbroken ? What tool
Unlocked ? What tool
Carrier ? Official or non-official

Have AT&T replace the SIM if it's factory. Does it occur everytime?

I'm gonna guess you unlocked with Blacksn0w, not redsn0w as Redsn0w is a jailbreak tool (not unlock tool) for older firmware (not 3.1.2)

Unfortunately, the carrier failure is a common problem with Blackra1n/Blacksn0w. I honestly have not read a reliable method of fixing it, other than to restore and setup as new. If your Fido sim is old, some have claimed getting a brand new sim helps, but I just don't know.

Try the DevTeam blog and read some of the posts, perhaps some help there.
