I have a 3gs 16gb, it was jailbroken on 4.3.3 and unlocked if i remember right it had its baseband changed to 6.15.00 the iPad baseband i think.
Anyway, i read about upgrading to ios5 and it seemed ok so i went ahead thinking i could use redsnow or snowbreeze and unlock with the new ultrasnow
but i upgraded and got to the activation screen where it said it could not activate, i then realised it had a different sim in as it was unlocked and my contract had finished. I put the old sim back in and started the phone up again and it still couldn't activate either on the phone or on iTunes (iTunes says the phone dosent have a sim in at all) And I would just jailbreak it but i can only either get it on, in recovery mode or off, no dfu mode. I also cannot restore to a previous version using tiny umbrella and my shsh blobs because i get error code 20 which apparently the solution too is being in dfu mode. Therefore i am stuck and i just want my phone on and working asap.
