3GS Shipping Firmware?

Does anyone have any idea what firmware the latest 3GSs ship with in the UK?

The silent switch on my phone just broke and there is dust stuck in the middle of the screen under the glass. I can get a new one on warranty but I don't want to risk getting stuck with 3.1.3 because the phone is entirely useless without jailbreak and as far as I'm aware you can't downgrade anymore.

3.1.2 very likely. I wouldn't discard 3.1.3.

Entirely true though.

I got a new one, alas it is stuck with 3.1.3. The only good thing I got it out of it is that the bootrom on the new phone is the older version.
