Hey,
I am new to the iPhone and I was thinking of buying one on O2 pay & go.
I was wondering if there was a way to use a normal O2 pay & go sim or even a pay monthly sim in the iPhone.
Also, would doing this effect any of the iPhone's features?
I'm sorry if this is an obvious question or whatever but help would be much appreciated :).

So I could buy any O2 sim? I thought there might be a problem because it is not one of the iPhone sim options.

The main difference that I can see between the regular O2 sims and the iPhone one's is that the iPhone sims have unlimited Wi-Fi and Data, is that necessary?

Depends on how much you are going to use the internet away from home. If you are using the wireless to connect to your home router then it doesn't cost anything. Wireless only costs if you are using a different hotspot. You can get data bolt-ons from o2 though that give you unlimited data or wifi.

However if you was to buy it on pay as you go and use the o2 iphone pay and go sim that comes with it then you get free wifi/3g for a year anyway.... ;)
