i bought myself a third party mesh band about 9 days ago. I really like it and think it looks great but the other day while at Disneyland it caught on my backpack strap and bent some of the mesh pieces. Of course now those mesh pieces catch on everything. Trying to decide if this is my own damage or if it was faulty? The reviews of the band are great but I put the backpack strap on gently to avoid catching it. I'm thinking that it wouldn't have caught unless the pieces were closed properly? Thoughts?

I had a similar experience with a band I purchased on Amazon. I was able to get a free replacement no questions asked
