iPod 3rd party resellers ship dates

Anyone have any idea why Amazon/Target.com show shipping dates as 1-4 weeks for new iPods (80GB) when Apple, MacMall, MacConnection – even freakin' Circuit City and Best Buy – show shipping dates as 1-4 days?

I have some promos/coupons that make target.com an attractive option, but not if i have to wait a month to get the device.

You can use the target things for accessories. The one near me has tons.
