3rd party widgets not available until you open the app again?

I noticed some odd behavior where the availability of a 3rd party widget isn't updated until you open the app after the app updates. For example, Slopes, Smart Gym, and OneDrive all updated yesterday and apparently they released a widget. When you go into jiggle mode, then the "+" widget screen, they are not in the list or in search results. But if you go open the app, then go back to the widget library, you will see them as an option.

Anyone else seeing this? Very odd that a widget library will only update if I do something manually.

I’ve found some of them don’t show up until you do a proper restart

I noticed I had to open up the scanner app to see the widget become available as well

yeah I noticed that last night when the first apps started to update

I guess the app itself somehow puts its widgets in the widget library, so the app has to be run at least once for it to install them.
