hi, I have a macpro 2008, this hd works for my mac?

RED
http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-3-5-Inch-Internal-WD30EFRX/dp/B008JJLW4M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1351274896&sr=8-3&keywords=3tb+wd+nas
say that is for a NAS but maybe works and be better than the WD greens, I see a lot good reviews on red, maybe is better than greens, I see mixed reviews on greens... bad and good... so...

GREEN

my goal is just storage music

I got.....

2 REDS and a GREEN. Better served with the RED ones for storage only. But still, not that specific models you are citing....:):apple:

Using 1 x 3TB WD as a BkUp disk for a 3 x 2TB Seagate raid 0. The back up is every 2hrs. Working well in the 2010 MacPro for 4wks so far.
