3x 27" IPS Korean monitors with Mac Mini - Possible?

Just wanted to know if anyone has managed to run 3 monitors on a mac mini?

I am thinking of getting some of the korean ips monitors and would like to know if it's possible to run 3x monitors.

Anyone?

I don't think that the intel hd 4000 GPUs can drive that many pixels without lag.

Three of those monitors would be over 11,000,000 pixels. Double the amount that the 15" rmbp has and the hd 4000 sometimes has lag on that so I would say no the mini can not drive 3 2560x1440 displays. If it could i am sure it would be super laggy.

No. And not because of what TRAV9164 stated. The Mini can handle the amount of pixels just fine, the problem is how to connect three of them to the Mini. Unless you are using an Apple TBD (they can be daisy chained), the cheap Korean models can not be daisy chained so you can only hook one via Mini-Displayport and the other via HDMI (the HDMI port has a limitation of 1920x1200) and you have no connection for a 3rd (well okay you could use on of those mini-displayport dividers but again they can only do 1080P). Kind of pointless to spend even $400 on a monitor and not be able to maximize it....

you are half right there simply are not enough ports at 2560 by 1440.

but if you think 3 apple t-bolt model display daisy-chained via t-bolt cable will work without lag you might be right.

I don't think you are right but I am not bothering to test it out. Would like to see someone test it.

Actually you are correct, Apple only states that 2 TBD's are possible. You can do 2 TBD + an HDMI so it ends up as 2 at 1440P and 1 at 1080P. So 3 monitors are possible but one will be limited to 1920 x1200 max. Either way you look at it, you can't use more than one of those Cheap Korean 1440P IPS displays since you will have no way of hooking them up unless you want to run them @ 1080P

Yes, with a caveat. Use this USB to HDMI adapter for the third monitor. Third monitor will be 1920x1200.
