Hey,
is there a way to get the 3x3 folders on my iPad back?
Any particular reason why you prefer 3x3? IMHO, even 4x4 is insufficient and leaves the iPad screen underutilized.
They haven't provided a flag like that before (and really many more important things are lacking options that Apple could provide), so unfortunately more than likely it won't happen.Oh, there are several reasons:
I hope Apple give us an flag to switch that. Global or for each directory.
- I have the same order of the folders on my iPhone. Before iOS 9 the order of the icons in the folder where equal. Now they different which is not a good user experience for me.
- Also for esthetics I prefer 3x3 over 4x4, because the icons are bigger in the folder preview and 3x3 is more clearer in the overview.
- I don't have many icons in most folders. e.G. in my social networking folder I have only 3 apps. With 3x3 that looks really nice, but with 4x4 the folder looks like an empty desert.
I thought I was the only one who didn't like it.
When you browse a folder, it looks great. But the actual folder icon itself has too much padding, which is why it doesn't look good.
And yeah, the idea that people have even 16 third-party apps to stuff in one is absurd.
Why go inside the folders in the first place? I almost never do, I just pull down for Spotlight and enter the first one or two letters of the app. For the most part, I don't even remember where they are...Oh, there are several reasons:
