Looking at a card for bluetooth and latest wifi for my 4,1 ->5,1 CMP. Can anyone recommend a card? I'm looking at this one, which is a little pricy but if it does the job I'm happy.

Any other recommendations?

Although it’s not inexpensive, it’s a very nice kit. I installed one yesterday and have no regrets.

Any of these cards take a bit of fiddling to work FULLY with Handoff and Apple Watch, but it’s not hard, and I personally enjoy the benefits.

Did you remove the old Bluetooth? I did and find that bluetooth is not recognized. Don't know if this is because the old card was removed.

Thanks. I didn't think it mattered, but Bluetooth is gone from the preferences now after removal of the old card.

Then something went wrong with the install or you got a defective unit. That wire that plugs into your new card has to be positioned correctly. It’s easy to flip it the wrong way when installing. Double check that. Otherwise contact the vendor to help troubleshoot or have them send you a replacement. Once in a while a bad unit slips through the cracks.

I had one go bad after a couple of years because I was digging around in there, changing logicboards and such (I damaged it somehow), it acted the same way and I had to get a replacement.

Thanks. I have a message in with the vendor with system report and pics.
