I replaced my cMP with a current MBP a few months ago, and hadn't turned it on for a while. Two days ago I needed some files I forgot to transfer from the old machine but it won't power up now. What could be the problem? Would I need a new PSU? Where would I get one?

Thanks.

It's a 4,1 with the netkas 5,1 fix, W3680, 24GB RAM, HD5770, two SSD's on PCIe cards and a bunch of HDD drives.

Download the Apple Technician Guide for your Mac Pro, the chapter about the diagnostic LEDs stat with page 28.

You don't need to strip down to the minimum configuration, just check the LEDs.
