Just received a 2009 Mac Pro with 10.10.5 Yosemite installed. Whenever I try running the firmware update tool I get the 5570 error message. What should I do?

Update: had the firmware update disk image named wrong. I download both version 1 and 1.5. Version 1.5 got renamed with -2.dmg. Now running with 3.46 ghz quad core and 16gb of 1333 MHz RAM operating at 1066 MHz for some reason.

A PRAM reset may help.

Otherwise, please take a picture of the RAM stick label and post that here. The info on there may help to know why they can't run at 1333.

PRAM reset did it. Not sure why, but, I couldn't do a PRAM reset using my Razor Blackwidow Ultimate Mac edition keyboard. I had to use the one from my tangerine iMac. Still waiting for a 128gb Samsung SM951 to arrive.
