FYI www.SpiritJB.org is not a creditable site, they have nothing to do with Comex as there name would imply. Some info is accurate but they also post allot of BS. I'd like to see a more credible site or source.

From what I understand it's the source code which is useless to everyone but The Dev Team. There are people saying it's just a picture of a pineapple though. Then there are those that say that's not the original and that he replaced it with that after the news sites started reporting on it.
Since it's protected by a 30 character password, it's irrelevant what's in the file, so it doesn't matter how he knows (note correct spelling) it.

So he is already collecting donations but no working JB from what I see. I have been JB for three years never heard of him. Of course Comex is still fairly new as well. I still waiting for a official from say Comex or Dev_team

that is not an untether we all can use... it was a way of saying something. He already gave the untether to the dev team... we have to wait the release from the dev team, not him.

i just find this whole thing a bit odd. i thought the guy said he wouldn't release a jailbreak and that he would leave it up to the devs. maybe he needed some donation money? i see one person already donated (and seems mad about it).
It was a joke but you do all realize i0n1c didn't develop a jailbreak right? He's just exploited a vulnerability to make it untethered. Even if it was the actual source code it would have been useless to 99.99% of you unless you'd written your own jailbreak.
