I just upgraded my ATV2 to 4.3 and all of a sudden an annoying flicker has started on my screen. I have a 1080i TV. It happens about every 2-3 seconds regardless of what I'm doing or watching. This is so annoying. I am just about ready to give up on everything Apple.

I'm having the same issue, every 10 seconds or so it blinks.

Gonna try yanking the power cord to reset it.

edit: Setting the HDMI output mode to RGB High seems to have solved the problem.

How does one set the HDMI output mode? I go into Settings->Audio & Video and select the HDMI Output, but all it ever displays is "Auto". I'm having the same annoying flicker problem too.

Go over to the ATV2 Apple Support Forum (apple.com). There is a thread there that discusses this issue. Many people are having this problem. It seems to be restricted to people with 1080i TV's or HDMI-DVI converters. I am still having the problem and have tried everything I can to fix it. I have a feeling that since 1080i is not officially supported on the ATV2 that it will not be fixed. Bummer.

I have tried all the options with the HDMI control and none fix the flicker. To set it, you just select the mode and press the center button on the remote.
