4 Finger Swipe Not Working

Since installing El Capitan on my mid-2011 build iMac, the 4 finger swipe no longer works on my trackpad. How do I get it working again?

You've look through System Preferences > Trackpad, I assume. Sometimes when my gestures stop working I uncheck all the boxes and check them again and it starts working.

Yup, did all the "normal" things, nothing seemed to work. But, this morning, everything is back to normal. Must be magic.....
