ok so i bought a 4gb from my friend the battery was dead at the time so i took it home and charged it. when i pulled it off of the charger there was no light? i have manually restored it through itunes and through the ipod itself. so my guess the backlight is just busted. its was bought less than a year ago so it still has a warranty. but i have a question: even tho i did not buy it can i still call apple and get a replacement/get it fixed? or am i hooped?
