Hello guys...

My iTunes says that I have 4 of 5 machines authorize... If I only have one computer.. how can I fix this?

Thanks

This can happen if you ever wipe a computer before deauthorizing. This had gotten me. I'm up to 3 out of 5 despite only having one computer with iTunes installed. I've had two previous XP installs that I've had to blow away for one reason or another. But now I am all OSX:D

If I ever do the deauthorize all, do I lose all of my playcounts?

No, playcounts are specific to a certain library or playlist. Deauthorizing all your computers will not reset anything in iTunes, except for the fact that you'll need to reauthorize iTunes itself.

I hear you.

Hopefully everyone will read this: DE-AUTHORIZE YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE WIPING IT!

If you deauthorize all I don't think it affects your library at all.
