Hello there,

I was thinking about paying $1200 for the "PNY Technologies nVIDIA Quadro 4000 for Mac Display Card" in bhphoto. Happy to report that the price has dropped to less than 800 bucks. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/745706-REG/PNY_Technologies_VCQ4000MAC_PB_nVIDIA_Quadro_4000_for.html)

But here are my questions:

i) Does it work with OpenCL? I can't find a single test or benchmark or report anywhere out there that this thing will run OpenCL code. (It will run CUDA, so I assume it will run OpenCL as well, but if some kind soul out there knows anything one way or another, please help--my wallet is at stake here).

ii) Can I run it concurrently with the RADEON? Can I use the radeon for regular video and this thing for GPGPU/OpenCL? That's my intention.

If anyone knows anything about this GPU, please please share.

Color correction app DaVinci Resolve works with Radeon 5770 card driving GUI and Nvidia Quadro 4000 driving all rendering--and this is a fully qualified configuration from Blackmagic.

So yes, they both work together in the same box.
