It's very low resolution. It's fine for TV, but it'll be painful for computer use unless you're planning to sit fairly far away from it.

The resolution is awful. I wouldn't be happy with it. Brightness is also just ok, not great.

Bottom line, however, is that you need to see it in action, and if you like it, then hey, I guess it works for you.

Of course you also need to figure out whether your room requires a huge screen even if that means you'll only be able to afford a mediocre TV, or if you could accept something smaller (32 or 37"), but go for a quality device.

It is hardly worth $500. The resolution is bad, no cable TV is bad, it's all silly really. Seems like kind of a waste of cash.

great, thanks guys...need a 2nd opinon...

im passing on this one...im going to stick with a toshiba, panasonic and phillips LCD
in the 37" - 42"

(still shopping)

$900 would be in the acceptable range for that Set.

Take a look at the Westinghouse 1080p televisions. I've never seen one in person, but I've heard some good things.:)

NO, Not good things from westing house. Its liek goign to bestbuy and buying there house brand "insignia" or what7ever it is. WEstinghouse is not known for there high end electronics.
