I have seen lots of adapters, but they rarely give the width of the band. Most of the ones I have seen mention 24mm straps.

Are there any adapters for the 42mm watch that are designed for a 22mm strap? I have several nice straps for a different watch that are 22 mm wide. Thanks!

The knockoff adapters are based off of the genuine Apple adapter which comes with a 22mm strap.
Apple leaves a >1mm gap on both sides of the strap which is why the knockoffs mention 24mm.
In other words the common adapter is designed for either 22mm or 24mm.
22mm if you like the gaps on the side as Apple intended or 24mm if you don't.

I have PAM and Lum-Tec and both of them are 24mm. Stole one of my leather straps and it did fit no problem
