I am thinking of getting Lg 27GN950 (DSC technology) to run with my Macbook pro 2019 intel. Will I be able to get 144hz with a usb c to display port 1.4 cable and also attaching a second monitor Dell U2720Q at 60hz? I will be using scaling of 2650*1440 @144hz.

AFAIK DSC is broken on non-Apple monitors in Big Sur and later versions...

What is the highest refresh rate I can achieve then?
Assuming a 1080 MHz pixel clock limit for DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3... 118 Hz using CVT-RB timings; 120 Hz using CVT-RBv2 timings (calculator). But don't quote me on DSC not working, maybe that has changed.

Just got the UP2720q few days ago and doing some tests. This monitor has no HDR, it has only 250 cd/m2 so HDR is not possible, it is vey far from it actually....
