Does anyone have positive (or negative) 4K monitor recommendations for MacPro 5,1 with a GTX 1080?

Currently using a 27" Cinema Display and (occasionally) a 4K TV for second monitor for video outputs. Hoping my 27" will last a bit longer, but I know a few with 27" ACDs that have started to see them fail over the past few months. Some appear to be a color or pixel burn issue, but others seem a little more serious with the display itself failing.

Dell P2715Q has been great for my 4,1->5,1 with a 980.

I have a P2715Q, and use it with both an 15-MBP and 4,1/5,1 MP. Works great. Makes the older Dell U2410 placed next to it look like, well, it needs to be upgraded!

Thanks for the feedback. P2715Q seems like it may be the most popular option out there.
Are you getting 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz in MacPro with NVIDIA GTX, or does it drop to 30 Hz like some other other monitors?

I'm using a U2718Q, and luckily I have one that doesn't suffer from the terrible color calibration issues that have plagued this model. The P2715Q is a much safer choice. In fact, I would have purchased that one originally if it had been in stock when I needed it—there were a few months when it seemed like it was discontinued—and that was before the color calibration issues came to light. The U27 has smaller bezels, and looks great, but it isn't worth the extra money or risking getting a poorly calibrated one.

I run my U27 with a GTX 970, and I get full 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. The only quirk is that the monitor must be turned on before I boot up my computer, or my video card doesn't output any signal. I'm using a DP to mDP cable.

I just recently upgraded my 27" Cinema Display to a Dell 32" 4K UP3216Q. I'm very happy with it. I was a little leery about going much over 27" but the 32" doesn't seem to be that much larger when sitting in front of me. Now that I have used it for a month or two I don't think I'd ever go back to a 27". It's the perfect size for me. It has a soft matte screen which is really nice also.

Mac Pro 5,1 with a 1080 TI running 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz. No issues in Win 10 either...

Another happy P2715Q owner here. Had it just over a week, and it's been very nice indeed. I can actually jack the resolution up to 8K (might be thanks to the GPU being capable of that res, plus the MacOS scaling options). That's not recommended for anything where you actually need to read…text was microscopic and even finding the cursor was tricky! Running mine with an RX 580 though..

The P2715Q can do full 3840x2160 at 60Hz. I was not sure what cables would be included and was expecting to have to buy a cable, but I lucked out and there was a DP to mDP cable in there. My 980 only has 2 DP and no mDP, so I ended up plugging the DP into the 980 and the mDP into the monitor. Panicked at first because no video, then it occurred that I needed to change the monitor input to the mDP (which was sort of a facepalm, but then again maybe it should have auto-detected? w/e). I don't typically run at that high a resolution, I am doing 2560x1440 HiDPI (i.e. Retina) at 60Hz instead. I use SwitchResX to set up frequently-used resolutions on the menubar, so I can quickly ramp it up if I want extra desktop space.

FYI, highest available retina resolution appears to be 3360x1890. I do not know if that is a limitation of the monitor or the 980.

Thanks for all the input! Hoping the 27" ACD can last a little bit longer, but will keep an eye on P2715Q prices.

I have a Samsung 590D 28" being pushed by an RX 480

edit to add that I run the monitor scaled to 1080p that way I get that nice 4 to 1 scaling that's supposed to be the bee's knees.
