4K monitor support on MP 5.1

Will the stock Radeon 5870 be able to drive a 4K monitor and another standard display (e.g., 30" ACD)? If not, is there any chance we will see cards that will support 4K in MP towers under OSX?

As mentioned in another thread. 10.9 doesn't yet support 4k properly. We're assuming 10.9.1 will enable this support, and hopefully AMD and Nvidia drivers will support this under OS X too, but at the moment it's a bit ambiguous.

I think from a technical point of view the nVidia 680 GTX should be able to drive a 4K Display, too. The curious thing is, that the EVGA website says the Geforce 680 GTX Mac Edition supports Displayport 1.1:

But the nVidia website states that the 680 GTX support Displayport 1.2 with a certain driver release (on the windows side of things)

Supports DisplayPort 1.2 for GeForce GTX 600 series GPUs.

and thus a resolution of up to 4096x2160@60Hz

So, I hope the Mac Edition of the Geforce 680 GTX is not limited to Displayport 1.1 and that nVidia will soon offer a driver with allows 4K resolutions on OSX.
