So I’m using a 4k screen as an external display. This is, as you probably know, not optimal when using Mac OS. I mean i’m not too bothered using a scaled resolution, but i do wish Mac OS handled scaled resolutions better.

I just started playing around with the external monitor support and stage manager on iPad OS 16, and wow! I can‘t really measure this, but this looks noticeably sharper on my 4K monitor with stage manager than it does on Mac OS. It scales absolutely perfectly. Text is razor sharp, and not to small as Mac OS when running native.

That’s certainly an unexpected surprise.

Good to hear. I was thinking of putting 16 on my M1 12.9 when it goes public beta and trying it out with my 4K monitor.

I have tried uploading, but no matter what it says the file is to big. I have now exported them to a Jpeg of 1 MB, but still too big. What's the max file size?
