Does anyone know where I can find a cheap 40GB iPod Hard Drive? Mine has crapped out and I want to be able to replace it. My iTunes Library is at 32GB right now and this 40GB will be enough to hold it all so that I can have my whole library on the go since I don't own a Mac notebook yet.

I've done some searching on eBay and iFixit.com. Good prices but has anyone bought from eBay or iFixit before? If not, where did you buy your replacement hard drive? Thanks!

I bought a Toshiba MK6006GAH 1.8 inch, 60GB drive from eBay last year to put in my 4th gen... they're getting a bit hard to find now.

But my 4th gen went through three drives in total, and I screwed up the case on the second install... so I gave up and bought a 5.5gen which has been far more reliable. Anyway, that drive fits as does the 40Gb MK4006GAH, not sure about the Toshiba 80Gb MK8007GAH.
