My iPod is stuck in the boot up screen. The one with the Apple Logo. It happened after I ran iPod updater. The iPod will not mount on my Mac or Windows machine so I can't even restore the damn thing. I tried a reset but it still gets stuck in the Apple boot up screen. Is there anything I can do as far as reseting it? At this point I do not care about my data. Thanks.

That's odd, but try plugging it in to the power outlet. Usually after an update you are required to plug it in to the wall outlet to reboot it (computer cords don't count, it must be the actual wall outlet with the AC adapter they give). If did that or it still doesnt work after that, try going to Apple Discussions on Apple.com.....they are really good at helping people out :)
