Evening all from first time poster.
Just bought a Yamaha PDX50 speaker dock. For those not familiar with it, the Yamaha transforms an iPod itself into a remote control: attach the little transmitter to the bottom of your ipod and it sends music wirelessly to the dock. Very happy with sound, but volume control from the ipod click-wheel does not control the dock line-out level as it is supposed to. Tried it with an iphone and the volume control worked. I guess the control signal for the ipod volume does not appear at the dock connector. Anyone any idea if this is a fault or a feature of 4th generation and if so is there anything I can do about it?
Ta for any advice
