Hi all is anyone still having battery issues with the 5.0.1 update? As mine still seems to be draining battery quick.

Just got the 4s - came over from a Droid X. I'm easily getting 2 full days of use - much better than my Droid was.

Mine has gotten bad. Now all of a sudden my usage and standby time is identical. Can't wait for a fix on this! I thought 5.01 fixed the problem, but it hasn't.

Battery life was good on 5.0 and is much better on 5.0.1. I get 2 days worth with light usage.

Mine lasts about 1 day or more before i have to charge it up. Wifi / 3g is on permanently so is location services so i can find the phone if it is stolen etc. At the moment i have to have a spare sync cable at work just in case a charge is needed and i have a charger next to my bed also for it to charge over night.

My 4S was great on 5.0 as was my iPad though it seems on 5.0.1 on my 4S is using more location services than it was and is draining the battery a little more. Apples executive relations has been in contact with me and helping to resolve the issue

My battery life was FINE on 5.0, but when I updated to 5.0.1 a whole slew of problems came my way. I am currently restoring my phone and hopefully that helps with my battery life mainly. At first I could leave my phone overnight, and the percentage would only drop about 2%, but waking up to a battery that is about 45% full after a full charge is RIDICULOUS.

I had a device-only AT&T iPhone 4S with iOS5.0 on it and was happy that there wasn't any problems with it. Well although the device-only will kept kept unlocked, I ended up deciding on just picking up the officially unlocked one.

Well my officially unlocked one came today with iOS5.0.1 :mad: and...well it seems like the battery is draining much quicker than my previous 4S with 5.0. I guess I'll find out soon enough if this will become a problem...

iphone 3gs - standby 1 day -> and lost just 1% .. looks good!

on 4S I see about 2 days usage - calls, internet, emails (checking for emails manually) which is good I think.

the update made my battery worse. I think its odd that it was supposed to help but for some it made it worse. Esp when I fixed my battery with shutting off some of the settings. But now it does not seem to matter

From my recent experience with Android phones and battery life, comparing the battery life of an Iphone to an Android is like that saying that the worst day of fishing is better than the best day at work. I love the Android phones but the battery lifes suck. The best I had was with my Infuse 4G and it had nothing compared to my IP4S.
