My 11 year old son has an original 3G iPhone, not 3Gs. He currently has it on 4.2 i think is the IOS and he is completely obsessed with getting a new iphone, but really his main thing is, he wants Siri. All his friends play around with it and see what funny things they can talk into it, etc.

so i did a little internet searching today and found an alternative called SARA that you install through Cydia... however, it appears this app requires 5.0+ IOS. Well problem with that is, I cannot seem to find a ipsw for a 3G/5.0+. Not to mention, most say even if it was possible, it would run extremely slow and unusable.

So what are my options here? Are there any Siri alternatives for an iphone 3G or is it possible to someone get SARA or 5.0 on a 3G?

that is what i have come to find out. thats why im here asking if there are siri alternatives or some other way to get SARA installed
