As alluded to in prefix, I am running Big Sur (newly installed on NMVE drive w/Open Core Legacy patch). Except for minor USB problems, all seems to be fine. Since I am a long time Windows user, it was my hope to install Win 10 using the resident Boot Camp utility in Big Sur. However, I seem to recall (from one of the many YouTube videos on the subject) that Boot Camp does not work on unsupported Macs. Instead software like Parallels and Rufus recommended. Obviously, Boot Camp seems easier, but I prefer not to crash my Mac Pro.

On the related subject, is version 2011 of MS Office for Mac compatible with Big Sur?

Thanks in advance for input.

Why don't you try it first? I just tried Bootcamp in Monterey with OCLP and so far it is Saving Windows Support software to the USB. Will report progress.
