A friend gave me his unused GTX 1080. I'd like to get it working in my cMP. It seems that Nvidia drivers work up only to 10.13 (I'm on 10.14 at the moment).

I'm using this to run Folding@Home applications for COVID19 research. AMD cards (like the RX580 I have) aren't optimized to run Folding. That is why I am trying to install this card.

Thanks in advance for the help.

if it's just a compute box for Folding@Home a simple solotion is to instal an old version of osx or any linux/windows on to a spare drive (or stick an old version of osx on to a USB stick)

I don't have a spare SSD at the moment unfortunately. I'm trying to install 10.13 on a partition on my NVMe but have been unable to do so thus far. Any ideas?
