I have a new 3.06 12 core Mac Pro, and was wondering what my chances are of the new video cards Apple releases for the new 2013 Mac Pro, will work in mine? Do you think it will be a card, I can just throw in my machine, or will I most likely be left out in the cold? That would really tick me off, as this machine would be barely 1 year old.

Apple does not produce graphic cards, they use Intel, AMD/ATI and NVIDIA GPUs in their Macs, and AMD/ATI and NVIDIA will probably still release GPUs compatible with the current generation Mac Pro, or you could flash a GPU, some threads around here tell you what to do with that.

We can all only speculate on this, its impossible to say but I would guess that yes, if they decide to go with Nvidia cards, they will and already do work with Mountain Lion, you lose your boot screen with a PC card though.
