Hello,

I have a 5,1 with dual upgraded CPUs:

Xeon X5680 (Dual)
12M Cache, 3.33 GHz, 6.40 GT/s Intel® QPI

Will the following ram work?

Samsung VLP 24GB (6x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10600R 1333 MHz 240-Pin ECC REG RDIMM Server

Thank You!

that RAM should work fine in your Mac Pro :) make sure if your only fitting 6, to make sure each CPU has 3 sticks (dont do 4 sticks on one CPU and 2 in the other)

Yes, this RDIMM should work properly even you install them into all 8 slots.

And please make sure you don't mix this RDIMM with any other UDIMM, otherwise, the Mac won't boot.
