Does anyone else notice the speed enhancement with 5.1. This is especially noticeable on the iPhone 4. Apps seem to open faster, and Safari loads pages slightly faster!

Doesn't everyone say that their device feels snappier after an update?

I agree with the OP - it definitely is quicker with 5.1 in all aspects. I don't really notice much of a change on the iPad2, but certainly do on the iPhone4.

Apps coming out of "sleep state", or whatever it's called, is decidedly faster. Don't have to wait 1-2 seconds for the screen to become responsive now.

Actually I've noticed this. Certain wipes and transitions seem a little faster. Maybe they adjusted the animation curves or something? Slightly less stuttering on the home screen, too.

It definitely seems faster to me, but i was running the 5.1 beta for the past few months. The betas are typically a bit laggy.
