5.1 ios storage... what the hell is happening here?

I have no movies in my iTunes, but i do have a small vid i want to stick on there.... I have plenty of space as you can see :

but if i click manually manage videos... it randomly flies up to this:

adding tons of gigs in audio!?

Same issue with my ipad2 32g. Has been so since ios5. Getting sick of these bugs in my products

I had that happen on the kid's iPod on 5.0.1. IIRC, I disabled syncing Movies - synced - then turned movies back on - synced. It seems like it happened more than once but I don't remember doing what I just described more than once, so you may want to eject and turn it off and on to see what happens.

That space bar/meter has been woefully inaccurate for a while now. Always reads as is if my ip4 is exceeding max capacity, when its actually 1.5 - 2 gb under.
