5.5 better than 5.1??

Before I plug into to get the update is there any difference?
 
@Cortezbanks 5.1 was the manual carrier update that also included MMS.
 
5.1 has extra settings that get deleted if u update to 5.5 but I guess they don't really matter. If u use tethering and it works then stay with 5.1. Otherwise you can update

5.5 is the newest one from AT&T. I'm building a 6.1 one that is the same as 5.5, but with tethering. This will ONLY WORK ON 3.0 and NOT 3.1!!! It is also the same as getting the benm hack, but through an IPCC

OK, cool. I already got it all working for me on 3.0. So Im good to go
 
There is no official 6.0 or 6.1

Someone built a 6.0 to open tethering back up as long as you are not on OS 3.1.

6.0 is a user gererated (hacked) carrier file.
