I’m on 12.1.3 and have a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9”. In just 5 minutes of use my iPad lost half its battery. Also battery seems to be way worse on this iPad over the past few weeks.

Is it possible I have a lemon?

Am I missing something? It looks like the battery has lost maybe 5-10% over the last 24 hours when you look at that image, which could very well be normal while on standby all day. You need to show us your battery usage over the “Last 10 Days”.

I had the exact same issue w mine. Felt like I always had it charging. I ended up getting the new 11” iPad Pro.

So looking at the image, you took the screenshot approximately 44.5 hours after it was fully charged to 100%. In those 44.5 hours you lost about 48% or so. The last 24 hours you lost what looks like 5-10% with minimal use, but there are 20.5 hours not accounted for in that screencap. It’s not unfathomable that you would have used about 35-40% in those 20.5 hours, but no one can see that in the screencap you provided.

or you're misreading the screen. because it appears to be showing that from 3pm on the 30th to around 1pm on the 31% your iPad lost about 20% of the battery charge. not "half" and not from just "5 minutes of use". Things like wifi network searching and background app refresh aren't showing.

also have you restored the iPad and set it up totally blank with no apps, no emails or other push systems and let it sit with screen and all basic apps and functions like app refresh turned off. wifi off even. that's the only way to know that the issue is a ****** battery and not a lack of updates, corrupted software or such

The graph indicates your battery hasn't been fully charged in days. Your battery seems to be working just fine.
