Hi I was wondering does anyone knows how long this is meant to take to come through. On the last mac I purchased I went for the 50% back deal on office 2004. Not heard anything about the money back on that, is it meant to take a while. I remember I had something like that with my car insurance were they gave me 20 quid back or something that took a long time, same deal?

How long exactly have you been waiting? My iPod rebate took 5 weeks. Be patient young one.

I went for the office reabate when i bought my iMac G5. I got it right at the start of the offer (Late November I think). Still no rebate. Got an email on 5th Jan saying they had received the claim and it was being processed.

I seem to remember that it said 8wks on the terms & conitions. I guess I am about there now. I sense a phone call coming on.....

Just in case you were still interested (!). My rebate came through today. By my reckoning, at least 10wks since I applied for it.

hmm

hhmm, that IS interesting,
mine went to MSFT, I called in advance to confirm the rebate and rebate code, and what was required for submission from the MSFT box. Since, actually what MSFT wants sent in is the certificate of authenticity, which I always like to keep.

that was in early Jan, I called on Monday to confirm receipt and everything and they said they got it.

Are there TWO rebates, I had 50$ off student and teacher, I wonder if the 50% is differant, of course I think they are ALL $$ off and not really % off, it is just marketed as 50% off whatever MSFT sets as the retail price.

holy speedy rebate batman

holy speedy rebate batman, I sent this one in about 2-3 WEEKS ago tops, check showed up today!

I cannot believe MSFT got it processed and back so fast, must NOT have gone to a fullfillment center.
