Geez I know the pound is down a bit

But putting £500 on the Base MacPro UK Price today.

I cant see the Apple store employees finding it an easy sell now! (if it ever was)

So Now £2999 for the Base 4 Core.
And £3899 for the Base 6 Core.

Has to be a joke.

Everything Apple is now very expensive in the uk (well as if it wasn't before). I realise the pounds value is responsible for this but still it would make me think twice about buying anything else.

Buy from John Lewis... Base 4-Core is £2499 with 3-year guarantee. Fairplay to them for not putting the price up.

I just bought a new Quad Core from Costco. Price inc VAT £1679. If your VAT registered then it's an even better steal!

Agreed.

..but the used ones on eBay are not much cheaper than brand new, it seems.
What’s really funny is that a refurb is now more money than a brand new one used to cost. That’s right, more.

Hi, the price is very attractive, which Costco store did you buy? I didn't find any Mac pro sale in Sheffield.
