512Gb iPad Pro and it says I have 721Gb available!! Eh?

Capacity 512GB and Available 724Gb
What’s going on? I can’t get it sorted.
iPad Storage will not load up either in the settings app. I just get the spinning wheel thing and it never loads up.
Tried:- Numerous reboots; reset all settings; have updated to 15.0.1 and now 15.0.2 and still not right.

It’s a new “feature” introduced back in iOS 15 beta 4 iirc. And since then it never got fixed. Your iPad Pro will only have 512GB no matter how hard you try. Software bug wont magically allow you to break the physics.

If that's the case, then how come it's not affecting either my iPhone 13 Pro Max or iPad Air 4 (both running iOS/iPadOS 15)? Both show the correct storage capacity (256 GB and 64GB, respectively).
