iPod 5G Video IPod Screen with lines?!

So my now ancient 5G iPod decided it finally wanted to give way on fully functioning.

There are some lines on my screen now. I'm assuming the screen is going toast.

I've never dropped this iPod. Fortunately the battery still functions almost as well as when I first got it.

It's also the only iPod I've ever owned. So what can I do to get it back in shape if anything.

I used it twice b4. One was to fix a bad headphone jack and its quite a good service. It takes about 3 days to complete the repair.
