iPod 5G Video iPod - Tv Shows wont Play

I have multi-passes to the colbert report and the john stewart show. They both download correctly to my itunes library, and sync to my ipod. Then when I go to play them on the iPod, the play button quickly flashes in the top of the screen and all i get is a black screen. They play in itunes, but not on my iPod. Anyone have any ideas? Thank You.
